This charming A-frame is perched on the hill

   and has a panoramic view of the barnyard

   meadow and mountains.

   We used the old and new to give special

   character to this spacious cabin. This cabin has

   a full size bed in the lower bedroom and either a

   king or two twins in the upstairs loft bedroom

   with one full size tub/shower bathroom.

  It also features a complete kitchen, gas fireplace,

  air conditioning, satellite TV/VCR/DVD, telephone,

  a large front porch with an outdoor gas grill and a

  picnic area with a firepit.

The dining

  area is

 adjoining

   the

   fully

equipped

  kitchen. The table seats six for indoor dining with a copper pot serving as the chandelier. A hammered copper buffet table can be used for extra dishes family style meals. All of the valance twig rods were hand picked from our woods, dried and cut to fit each window.

The living room is a combination of old and new. A

large comfortable leather sofa sits across from the

TV.  We also added a large wingback newly covered

chair for comfort. The side tables are hand made with rustic woods and coordinate. We were proud to find a campy raccoon lamp that sits by the sofa. When owner, Marilyn Krone asked the salesman at Rice Furniture "Do you have anything in raccoon, deer, squirrel, fox or bear?" He replied, "I have a raccoon lamp that we have had for twenty years". She was pleased to find it a home and at many pounds of iron, wasn't about to return it!

  Both bedrooms feature quilts, curtains

  and bedding from Patch Magic adorning

  the antique beds, onebeing Victorian.

  The downstairs double bedroom has a

  closet and the upstairs loft is open.

  Adults & children will love sleeping in the

  loft and awakening to a view of nature in

  the distance. All of the art is original with

  the exception of a few fun prints.

You can't help to notice that you are in the Raccoon Loft with all of the wonderful raccoon finds!  The bath was renovated with a new tile floor and a new

pedestal sink. An old toolbox was installed above the toilet to house towels and other bathroom items. We added a small locally made shelving unit by the sink

for little things.

The large outside front porch has a table seating four for outdoor dining with an outdoor gas grill for grilling your favorite foods. Enjoy the sound of the birds and our soothing waterfall at frog pond while relaxing in the two rocking chairs, as

well. Or take a picnic lunch and go down to the picnic area where you can enjoy those beautiful mountain days as well as a firepit to enjoy a campfire

on those cool mountain evenings

under the stars.
