This is our last night of a four-day vacation in the mountains. It is so cozy and romantic. I loved the décor and my husband said you could see a "woman's touch" throughout. We enjoyed the miniature horses and goats. We were feeding them apples today. We have actually relaxed, which is unusual for us with our busy schedules.

We hate to leave the Bear Cave. It is such a cute cabin. The Hummingbirds outside were fun to watch. Last week we reserved "The Squirrel Nest" for friends and for two nights we ended up watching videos and munching popcorn. Once our friends went back to Florida, we actually missed coming back to the "Foxes" at night. Tonight we rented "The Bear Cave" for my mom and dad (his birthday is today) but at the last minute, they decided to stay in Green Mountain. and my husband and I decided to keep the reservation and enjoy it ourselves.we plan on coming back during the winter with snow falling and fireplace. Can't wait!

We have enjoyed a beautiful, lovely time here at the Bear cabin for the past three days - soaking up the secluded atmosphere of the great outdoors, site seeing the waterfalls and other nearby areas and mountainside. Even though we didn't see any animals besides the goats and ponies next to us, they were fun to mingle with in the morning. Our Christmas morning was one I'll never forget - warm, cozy, and peaceful - the nicest Christmas that I have ever had. Merry Christmas to all of you and thanks for the wonderful stay.

We all really enjoyed our stay. We found the the cabins to be very charming. The decorating was superb, both sophisticated and whimsical. We loved the friendly ponies and goats. We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful wilderness in the area. We visited the Pisgah National Forest, Whitewater Falls and Gorges State Park. We had a great time and will most likely visit again.
